Walks are around the best sights Buda and Pest has to offer. The goal of this walking tour is to discover and experience our city through the eyes of the insiders, to bring to life streets, bridges and statues and of course to have fun. At the orientation part you learn about the up-to-date free and nearly free events, the places with nightlife until sunrise, where to eat out cheap, how to avoid the crowd at the bath houses and the tourist traps in the center.

The afternoon Free Budapest Walking Tour. As many of you having long nights out and it is hard to wake up early morning to join our morning walks at 10.30AM, we designed an easy going afternoon walk for party people and travelers with jat lag. This refreshing walk covers the basic sights of Pest and Buda in an easygoing way and also updating you on what's hot and what is a must regarding Budapest nightlife and daytime activities. Lots of insider information, plus great exercise in the Castle Hill.

Tour starts daily at 2:30 PM
Tour leaves from St. Stephen's Cathedral area. Meeting point is outside California Coffee Company. (closest metro stop called "Bazilika" M1 yellow line)

Free Communist Walking Tour


Hungary has had the second Communist political party in Europe and it was a Communist country for 43 year and 133 days. During this city walk you can learn not just about the chronology of the key events and other data and names, but about many undercover stories that happened behind the Iron Curtain. You can get a clear picture of the daily life, brainwash process, social conditions, human rights, secret agents and the cult of the party bosses. Sights of this interactive adventure include the 1956 uprising areas, the bronze bullet memorial, the flag with the hole and the eternal flame, the secret entrance of a military bunker, the last Communist memorial in the inner city and other symbols of "Soviet friendship". We also show you the most important Communist relics you would never find at any flee markets. This is nöt a classical walking tour but much more.

Free Jewish Quarter&the Best Pubs


Hungary has the largest Jewish population in East-Central Europe and the second largest synagogue in the world. The Jewish quarter is listed on the UNESCO World Heritage list of sights. The tour shows you not only the religious traditions but the other cultural art-, and scientific background, the mutuality with the Hungarian history and evolution. It covers the history of the largest synagogue in Europe, leads through the cemetery and the memorial garden, 3 other precious places of worship and the hidden Jewish symbols of the neighborhood.
